VTC Avenue / 04
Privacy policy
This policy explains which details are needed for a journey request, how disclosure to partner drivers is limited and which choices remain available to the traveller.
Draft policy · legal bases, retention, processors and transfers must be validated against the final deployed architecture.
Data controller
SD Consult is responsible for processing connected with VTC Avenue. For a question or data-right request: contact@sd-consult.fr · +33 6 59 82 34 21. The controller’s full postal address must be added before publication.
Data involved
Depending on the channel and request: identity and contact details, pickup and destination where known, date, time, duration, passengers, luggage, vehicle category, flight or train information, particular needs, free-text instructions, exchanges with VTC Avenue and technical data strictly required for security.
Why the data is used
The data is used to receive and structure a request, find a compatible driver, manage allocation, allow contact, answer support enquiries, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. Final legal bases will be aligned with the journey flow and contracts actually placed in production.
Disclosure to partner drivers
A limited summary may be sent to several compatible drivers so that they can assess the request. Full customer contact details are disclosed only to the driver to whom the journey is allocated. That driver then processes the information under their own responsibility for their offer and transport contract.
WhatsApp is the main channel and the web form remains the alternative. By choosing WhatsApp, the user also uses a third-party service governed by its own terms. Only information useful to the journey should be sent.
Autocomplete and free text
Address suggestions make entry easier without making it mandatory. Users may keep free text, correct a suggestion, send a location or leave a place to be agreed later. The autocomplete provider and technical data sent to it will be identified before activation.
Retention and security
Data is retained only for as long as necessary for the request, security, legal obligations and the defence of rights, then erased or archived. The detailed retention schedule and technical processors must be fixed before publication.
Cookies and analytics
Strictly necessary elements may operate without consent where the law permits. No non-essential tracker will be enabled before the tool and its lifetime are documented and consent is obtained where required.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, individuals may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability, object to certain processing and withdraw consent. After contacting SD Consult, a complaint may be made to the French data protection authority, the CNIL, at cnil.fr.
